Countries with piracy rates movies Oscar highest this year include Russia, the United States, Italy, United Kingdom, BrazilIndia, Canada, Australia, Spain and South Korea.

Irdeto stated that there were several factors why film piracy the more vivid, especially in this era of the internet.

"In the world of the internet, the redistribution of the window between theatricalrelease and availability of movies on the global market for too long, [this] providesspace for the hijackers to take a chance and offers consumers an alternative way toinstant gratification. Consumers today are reluctant to wait to access these moviesthrough the official service, "explained Rory O'Connor, VP of Irdeto.
